My Favorite Super Simple Pizza Red Sauce

Makes 3 ½ cups

1 (28 ounce) can whole tomatoes, San Marzano if you can find that type of tomato in can
2 cloves garlic, minced fine
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
Pinch of kosher salt, a large pinch
Pinch of ground black pepper

With an immersion blender or a regular blender, puree sauce until smooth. Warm to blend flavors. Use on pizza or pasta
