Giveaway: Cook In Israel Cookbook

Cook In Israel, by the esteemed cooking teacher in Israel, Orly Ziv, is a new and fantastic book featuring Israel’s best foods. I love the use of tahini, eggplant, tomatoes, fish and the beautiful images. The recipes are easy to follow, quick to complete and delicious. The images that accompany every recipe are real, right from Orly’s table and full of bright colors. Want to know more? Read about it here and also check out the sneak peak recipes to get a view of her style and flavor combinations.

  1. The holidays would be the same old (delicious but predictable)meals were it not for your fabulous twists on old time favorites. I have two children getting married within 11 months of each other. Wouldn’t this make a nice gift to the Brides to be!

  2. I had the opportunity to visit Israel on an Early Childhood mission. I would LOVE to learn more about Israeli cooking and bring it into the classroom. Thanks (TODAH!) for the opportunity.

  3. The food showcased on your site is always sure to be elegant, and I dont have to think twice and wonder the food will be good or not. Its never a risk to try anything here, and if you recommend this book, I know I can rely on it and its recipes. Id love to try something new!

  4. My children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren live in Israel and although they enjoy my Eastern European cooking (they say) I would love to be able to surprise them with some foods that they are more accustomed to when they come to visit.

  5. As a fairly new olah, it’s an on-going project getting to feel at home in my Israeli kitchen and expanding the excitement of new cooking. Your newsletter has been inspiring and very helpful. I’m looking forward to new cooking creations from your cookbook.

  6. Before I was acquainted with this site, I thought Gourmet Kosher Cooking was an oxymoron.
Boy, was I wrong!! The recipes and hints are terrific. Keep up the good work!
