½ cup bourbon
¼ cup olive oil
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon oregano
Dash hot pepper sauce
4 (1-inch thick) rib-eye steaks
Combine all ingredients except steaks in a strong Ziploc bag. Add steaks and marinate for at least ½ hour and up to 3 hours. Remove from marinade and grill over medium coals (or gas heat) for 10 to 12 minutes, turning once.
This is really good, used southern comfort for a mellow flavor, per my wine guy at the supermarket!!!
